Cometic MLS Head Gasket for Honda Civic/CRX SOHC D15/D16

The Cometic MLS Head Gasket is tailored for Honda Civic and CRX models with SOHC D15 and D16 engines, featuring a 76mm bore. This gasket is constructed from three layers of stainless steel, providing superior strength, excellent rebound, and resistance to corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated with a Viton rubber material, designed to endure various harsh sealing environments, load conditions, and surface finishes. The Viton coating can withstand temperatures up to 482°F (250°C). The center layer is an uncoated stainless steel shim that can be adjusted for different thickness requirements. This MLS gasket is suitable for both aluminum heads to cast iron blocks and aluminum heads to aluminum blocks, and it can handle the shearing forces between these materials. The design ensures an even torque load across the sealing surface, reducing bore distortion and eliminating the need for re-torquing.
