Hybrid Racing Universal Fuel Pressure Regulator - K Series Swaps
Running a K swap and need a fuel pressure regulator that actually holds steady? The Hybrid Racing fuel pressure regulator uses a piston-type design instead of the bladder-type regulators most people run. Bladder-type regulators bounce around under load and give you inconsistent fuel pressure readings, which messes with your tune. This piston-type regulator holds pressure steady so your ECU's fuel calculations stay accurate and your AFRs don't swing around mid-pull.
Piston Design, No Bladder
Most fuel pressure regulators use a bladder (basically a rubber diaphragm) that flexes to regulate pressure. The problem with bladders is they bounce and flutter under load, which causes fuel pressure to swing around instead of staying locked at your target number. A piston-type regulator uses a machined piston that moves smoothly without the bounce, so your fuel pressure stays where you set it. The built-in damping system also minimizes needle bounce on your gauge so you're not staring at a needle that's jumping all over the place.
Machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum and Stainless Steel
The body's machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and the internal components are 304 stainless steel. The finish is hard anodized with Teflon impregnation to resist corrosion, and quad O-ring seals keep it from leaking over time. It's not a cheap cast housing with rubber seals that'll fail after a season.
E85 Compatible
The regulator's compatible with E85 fuel. The stainless internals and seals handle ethanol without degrading.
Comes with All Fittings and Bracket
The kit includes all the AN fittings you need for a -6 AN return system setup, plus it's compatible with up to -8 AN lines. An anodized billet mounting bracket and hardware are included so you can bolt it to your firewall or wherever you need it mounted.
