We replace your restrictive, brittle, OEM rubber intake pipe with smooth mandrel-bent aluminum tubing and pair it with a DC Sports high flow, performance air filter. Install Guide:
1. Locate and remove two 10mm bolts securing the air inlet to the radiator.
2. Loosen the two clamps securing the factory intake tube.
3. Unclip the vacuum hose and the cruise control cable from the factory intake.
4. Unplug the harness from the mass air flow sensor.
5. Locate and unclip the two clips securing the upper section of the air box.
6. Remove the upper section air box from the vehicle.
7. Locate and remove two 10mm bolts securing the air box to the chassis.
8. Remove the lower section air box from the vehicle.
9. Remove the factory intake tube from the vehicle.
10. Loosely install provided 2.75” coupler with two clamps onto the throttle body.
11. Remove the mass air flow sensor from the factory air box.
12. Install the mass air flow sensor onto the DC Sports intake tube with provided machine screws.
13. Loosely install the DC sports intake tube into the throttle body coupler.
14. Notice the welded bracket on the intake tube.
15. Remove the 10mm bolt underneath the welded bracket securing the power steering hard line.
16. Replace 10mm bolt with provided vibration mount and align bracket on top.
17. Tighten the two clamps securing the intake tube.
18. Secure the intake tube bracket to the vibration mount with provided washer and nut.
19. Plug in the harness to the mass air flow sensor.
20. Install the filter onto the intake pipe.
21. Installation is now complete check all work performed
