The Hondata 7 Bar MAP Sensor is an aftermarket upgrade designed for use with B-Series Honda and Acura vehicles. It replaces the factory map sensor and allows the engine management system to accurately measure boost levels up to 101 PSI (4 bar) instead of the factory 10-11 psi (0.7-0.8 bar) limit. This is particularly useful for high-performance builds that require higher boost levels for optimal performance. The Hondata 7 Bar Map Sensor is a plug-and-play upgrade that requires no modifications to the engine harness or the ECU.

With the Hondata 7 Bar Map Sensor installed, engine management systems such as the Hondata K-Pro or FlashPro can accurately measure boost levels and adjust fuel and ignition maps accordingly. This allows for more precise tuning and better performance. It is worth noting that the Hondata 7 Bar Map Sensor may not be necessary for all builds, and in some cases, the factory map sensor may be sufficient.
