30% Shorter Shift Throw

The Skunk2 shifter reduces your shift throw by 30% compared to the factory shifter. That means you're moving the shifter less distance to engage each gear. The shorter throw also makes the shifter feel more direct because you're not reaching as far to grab the next gear.

Alloy Steel Construction, Not Aluminum

Skunk2 makes this shifter from alloy steel instead of aluminum. Steel's heavier than aluminum, which some people don't like, but the extra weight makes shifts feel better. The heavier shifter has more momentum when you move it, so it falls into gear more positively. Steel's also way stronger than aluminum.
