Cusco Rear Lateral Link Toe Arms - 2013-2020 BRZ, FR-S & 86

The rear of a BRZ or 86 moves more than you'd like under load. Factory lateral links use rubber bushings that deflect when you're accelerating hard or braking into a corner, and that deflection shows up as rear toe changing when you least want it to. These Cusco links replace the rubber with adjustable pillowball ends, so the rear geometry stays where you set it.

Why Rubber Costs You Grip

Factory bushings are compliant on purpose, since Honda and Subaru both want a quiet, comfortable car. The tradeoff is that compliance means movement, and movement in a lateral link means your rear toe is changing under load.

You feel that as a rear end that's slightly vague, or one that behaves differently depending on how hard you're loading it. Pillowball ends barely deflect at all, so the geometry you dialed in on the alignment rack is the geometry you actually have at speed.

It matters more the more grip you have. Running sticky tires or anything wider than stock puts higher loads through those bushings, which means more deflection and more benefit from getting rid of it.

Adjustable Toe, Front And Rear Of The Range

These let you set toe-in or toe-out directly, which opens up real tuning.

Toe-in adds rear stability, which is what you want for high speed cornering or a car you're trying to keep planted. Toe-out frees the rear up and helps rotation, which is where the drift crowd tends to live. Being able to move between those without shims or eccentric bolts is the practical advantage here.

This is for the BRZ or 86 owner running real tires and wanting the rear to behave predictably, whether that's chasing stability at speed or setting the car up to rotate. Get them installed, get a proper alignment, and stop losing geometry every time you load the car up.
