Hybrid Racing Short Shifter - 2022+ Honda Civic / 2023+ Acura Integra

Want tighter, faster shifts in your 11th gen Civic or 5th gen Integra? This short shifter cuts your throw distance and improves shift feel with upgrades that matter. You get a larger internal spring for quicker return to neutral, bigger bearings to handle racing forces, stainless steel cable pins that won't wear out, and a carbon steel baseplate that's lighter and stiffer than the factory piece. It's a direct bolt-on replacement that transforms your stock shifter into something that feels precise and connected.

Larger 2 Inch Internal Spring

The 11th gen short shifter uses a larger 2 inch diameter spring instead of the smaller spring found in older designs. The bigger spring reduces stress inside the spring itself so it lasts longer and doesn't wear out. It also improves the return speed after you shift, which means the shifter snaps back to neutral faster and cleaner. You get crisper shifts and the knob doesn't hang up between gears.

Larger Wishbone Bearings

The wishbone bearings (also called spherical bearings or rod end bearings) are what let the shifter pivot smoothly. This shifter uses larger bearings that can handle the forces that come with aggressive shifting and racing. The bigger bearings don't bind or wear out as fast as smaller bearings, so you get smooth movement and precise shifts even when you're banging gears hard.

Stainless Steel Cable Attachment Pins

The cable attachment pins connect the shifter mechanism to your transmission cables. These pins are stainless steel instead of regular steel or aluminum, so they resist wear and corrosion. Over time, cheap pins wear out and create slop in the shifter. Stainless steel pins last longer and keep the shifter feeling tight even after years of use.

Carbon Steel Baseplate

The baseplate is made from carbon steel sheet metal with a complex design that includes strategic reinforcements and contours. Carbon steel has a great strength to weight ratio, so the baseplate is lighter than the factory piece but way more rigid. The extra rigidity means less flex when you shift, which gives you better feel and more direct control. You can feel exactly where each gear is instead of fighting a sloppy shifter.

Direct Bolt-On Installation

This short shifter is a direct replacement for your factory shifter. It bolts in using the stock mounting points with no modifications needed. If you've got basic hand tools, you can install it yourself in about an hour.
